@j3nn_benn is easily one of my favorite contemporary ya authors and #seriousmoonlight did not disappoint. I am seriously in awe of how Jenn Bennett crafts these characters and plot so seamlessly. Each and every story along with every character is unique and memorable. I loved the chemistry between Birdie and Daniel, it off the charts. Their banter was so much fun. The pacing is also perfect, which can be tricky with contemporary novels. I highly recommend this one to everyone. Good afternoon friends, and Happy Memorial Day to anybody celebrating! 🇺🇸 Apologies for my lack of posting this past month, as soon as I left school I had a ton of unpacking, cleaning, and reading to catch up on. It took me a while to work up the motivation to start a new theme (since I’m not in my dorm room anymore), which I’m honestly still struggling with. So sorry in advance for what’s probably going to be a messy, indecisive feed until I get a new set-up figured out! - If you watch my stories you might’ve seen that I recently finished Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett! It was a super fun summer romance with the best outdoorsy setting, although the main character wasn’t my favorite protagonist that Bennett’s ever written. The only YA romance of hers that I have left to read is The Anatomical Shape of a Heart, which I’m excited to read hopefully at some point this summer! - Are you a fan of Jenn Bennett’s books??
