Ewww, yeah wisdom teeth surgery stuff really sucks. I feel for you. I don’t remember much of my own, just because they almost ODed me on the relaxant IV they gave me, so I was in a pukey, half-conscious coma for the day. XP

This has been extremely unpleasant. They fucked up my IV twice so I was having a panic attack by the time I went under. Apparently I'm allergic to vicodin and I started vomiting at 7pm and threw up every half hour until 11:30 when we went to the hospital for IV fluids bc I was dehydrated. After a 4.5 hr wait I got seen by a (very helpful) doctor. Since then I've been alternately nauseated and in pain and unable to eat anything larger than 1 cm^2.

So yeah. I'd like my FB pity thank you very much.

lol, it's still a lot like Hannibal/Will, but in a different way. You'll see when you read it. Tom is still all kinds of Dark-and-Evil (yayyyyy, :D), but he's trying to help Harry in his own way, if that makes any sense. I dunno, I'm a terrible explainer person. Reeeead, I need more people to obsess about this pairing with. XDDD

I've been reading Butterfly Heart too! It leans very heavily on the Hannibal storyline, but her characterizations are so spot-on, that it doesn't feel like a copy, if that makes any sense. Harry is a criminal profiler working for the Aurors, Riddle is some well-to-do psychologist brought in to try and keep Harry from falling apart, and Voldemort is a serial killer Harry is sorta in charge of capturing (because of their connection). It's all kinds of creepy, really, but pretty awesome all around.

That really does sound good. I think I’ll definitely have to give it a try now. Thanks for the review. :) Even though I was little wary at first, it sounds very intriguing on how the dynamic could work - something that I could easily see to be very good with the Tom/Harry relationship. But at the same time not completely like Will and Hannibal’s. :D

So I see you like Tomarry. <3 Just thought you'd want to know, anything by The Fictionist (on fanfiction net) is pretty awesome. You'll like hers, because I can completely sympathize with not wanting Dark!Harry, or Light!Tom just to make a ship work. I really like Fate's Favourite by her, but the Tomarry stays as a non-physical romantic relationship in that one. So I dunno. Most people don't seem to be interested unless there's gonna be smut. Which is sad because it's such a good fic.

Yaaay! Indeed I have fallen into the Tomarry pit and fear I shall never escape. xP (I don’t think I want to, haha.) But I’ve seen that author’s name floating around on the few fic recs I could find… I think the ‘Butterfly Heart’ one was recommended but then I saw that it was a Hannibal AU and I wasn’t sure if it was going to be copying it or just inspired by it or what? (Because I love Hannibal as well, lol. And I guess I was just worried that it might be too dark or Tom would be too irredeemable like Hannibal canonically is, idk.) But I will DEFINITELY go check out that Fate’s Favourite fic you recommended. :DI am sad to say, however, that I myself am guilty of sorting through the tags depending on rating sometimes. And while I am typically a slave to the smut, I’ll have to agree with you that a lot of great work goes unrecognized or unread just because of the lack of porn. I suppose my own mentality concerning that is: ‘if the author is not willing to go that far, to push themselves to write something as difficult or awkward as that, should I really trust them?’. This is a silly a silly way of thinking, I know, and I’m going to try and fix that. Starting with that Fate’s Favourite! So thank you for the recommendation. Sorry this reply is so damn long. (I mean, wtf. Maybe I should use this ability to pour out nonsense and write a fic myself, haha.) I will now depart with a virtual hug to you.. <3
