Oh, and I’m taking the red door as a reference to the house in Braavos. The black is tied up with her... complex relationship with Drogon.

The Plague did it’s damage through the city-infecting and killing hundreds, a whole district used as a mass grave. But there were people, who didn’t get sick, who didn’t flee from the infected-who did help.

Marii had just turned twenty-unwedded still when the Rat Plague hit; killing her Father, and potentially her Mother-but the location of the woman was unknown.

Marii did what she could, but with the Watch becoming more unforgiving as the year passed...more brutal to the infected and anyone possibly so...it was becoming more risky by the night.

And then the Empress was assassinated...
