Wolfgang stared at the basket of oysters, carefully plucking them out one by one to examine their shells, and then flipped them into the nearby pot. In order to make the sauce, he would have to simmer them for a few hours, but that still left the issue of the noodles... he had checked the other sauce, the fermentation process requiring over a year, but thanks to his pace and the deathless state of his existence, it hadn't felt that long at all.
He had even somehow managed to gather the onions, the peppers, several of the spices, garlic, and a few greens to mix in. The pork would be easy but he needed to collect wheat... then there would be the matter of the dough, the fashioning of the shape, and the mixing of the soup itself.
Melina, at least, had made no complaints about his pace. First Radahn, then Rennala, though the first battle had left him in dire need of rest and healing. He had spent at least six months recovering, facing off against the Moon Queen only after he had laid her son to rest, and killing his way through her students in the halls of her maddened Academy. That had taken less out of him, though the... voice... the illusion and the lucidity that had returned to her after he had beaten her... it made bumps rise on his nape to just remember it.
His gaze narrowed, considering what it could mean, but now was not the time. Wolfgang patted his hands together, rising up from his crouched position, and walked over to the balcony. He needed to consider his next move. Where could he gather wheat? Limgrave had a good climate, the Peninsula experienced too much rain, and Liurnia possessed far too much water. Perhaps he might attempt the Altus Plateau? However, he had no idea of how to get there... he needed some sort of... medallion, according to Gideon.
Wolfgang huffed underneath his breath, considering he might climb the steep, but that would take far longer getting to and fro. Especially because he needed so much wheat. The Tarnished paced the kitchen, placing his hands behind his back.
What to do, what to do...
