He's pulling Green out of his desk chair gently before stealing him away to one of the nearby loveseats for reading in the lab. Leaning in close, Red has a tiny gift box in hand; a soft smooch follows.
"Happy birthday."
Every year Red gifts him something on his birthday. And every year Green has to hide his shyness.
This time, however, he’s having a harder time trying to control his blushing cheeks and beating heart. He knows what’s to come and now it just makes him even happier.
Just that kiss would be enough of a gift for him, in fact!
“Th- Thanks, Red.” a lovey-dovey sigh escapes. He eyes the gift on his rival’s hands, attempting a sassy smirk. “What did you get for me this year, huh? I’m hoping more kisses than just one.”
She might be unathletic, but maybe she needs to pick up exercise as a hobby so she can spend more time with him!
"YOU'RE TOTALLY COOL LYRA!!!"
He's trying really hard not to show how vibrating of happiness he is.
"Besides I know you could definitely beat me with your fists." seriously speaking. Lyra makes him go jelly mode... easy to beat.
Green's tanabata present was one of the most fun for Blue.
When he shows up at his lab, he'll find an adorable origami Eevee surrounded by a full cast of its evolutions. When he approaches the table to look at them, Zia will drop a rain of green and blue hearts on him!
The accompanying tanzaku reads, "I hope you realize how wonderful you truly are."
It seems his office desk will be crowded with paper origami from now on. These are just too wonderfully cute, and he feels his chest oh-so-warm to think Blue was thinking of him specifically...
The green and blue hearts raining on him doesn't help his case. How stupid he is to push her away when he's so tremendously in love! Maybe he is a little bit wonderful after all, despite being a dumbass.
"But you're much more wonderful than I am for sure, Blue...." he whispers to himself.
