Serptember 13:
Bakunawa
yeeeee now this one was fun to paint!!
it’s a terrific sea serpent from the Philippines that swallows the moon, and I’m happy to reach a water-based creature bc I love detailing shiny stuff haha.
Serptember 8:
Sunbeam
I didn’t even know this breed existed until I put this prompt list together and wow are they beautiful.
this one’s a little dopey looking but he’s still beautiful.
Serptember 11:
Ouroboros
I am still doing theeeese. I’m just, a little far behind is all. :’)
wasn’t rly too pleased w/ this one at first but I do like the gummy effect it ended up having.
Serptember 12:
Hydra
this is the loosest process I’ve ever done omg. I’ve been using less and less layers recently and basically just painting on top of the sketch or block colour.
you can’t see the join in the tangle but it’s a bby 9-headed hydra. :3
Serptembers 9 & 10
Green Tree Python & Gorgon
I decided to combine them to catch up :’3 also it looks p nice that way.
I had to made the canvas around the main drawing bigger bc tumblr’s automatic resizing to 500px made it look baaaad.
Serptember 1:
Hognose
the first thing I saw when googling ‘cute hognose’ was one in a top hat so that’s what it’s gotta be.
Serptember 6:
Rattlesnake
a chunky dumpy grumpy. will I ever draw a snake that’s not just a big squishy coil? no.
