suo and nirei were so upset with sakura when he almost agreed to leave furin with endo in order to protect them and the town. they both scolded him during his fight with endo, and even told all their friends afterwards about what happened.
they want to destroy sakura's low self esteem so that this never happens again. they want sakura to know that they all love him, that he can share his troubles and depend on them, and he can trust their physical and mental strength to stand up against ANY bad force that tries to hurt them. sakura's life and his desires are just as important as theirs.
i think it's very safe to say that suo is leaving furin, and pulling this cruel and avoidant behavior, to protect everyone. he's choosing to simply give up himself, cut off his relationships, and is not putting any trust in any of his friends to help him, in exchange for their protection. whatever suo is dealing with, he probs thinks nirei and the others can't handle it, and doesn't want them to get hurt.
i really REALLY hope nirei/sakura call out suo's hypocritical BS and the above scene/noroshi scene is referenced. sigh... WE'VE PLAYED THESE GAMES BEFOREEEE SUOโผ๏ธ

FIRST- i love how everyone is sitting around nirei, like they're surrounding him with comfort since he's worried sick about suo. like sakura, nirei was bullied too. and now he's surrounded by amazing ppl who smile fondly at him like this when they recognize how kind his heart his - how worried he is that their friend dissapeared for 3 days. and sakura "pouting" and apologizing is so sweet lmao ๐ฅนโค
i did NOT expect the boys to be lead to literally no house... omfg!! in the few seconds i read through these panels, so many thoughts popped in my head when seeing their shocked faces. is the house vacant? is it run down? burned down? LMAO is there a "sold" sign on it? but there's just NO house...
also, i love the panel where the boys lean in towards nirei. im not good with words lol but i love their closeness and familiarity with each other - they lean in towards nirei for answers, they're close and together in this confusing situation TwT ๐
what is suo hiding?! i felt like suo lives with his master and his disciples/"brothers". during the sick sakura episodes, suo was just as shocked as nirei to realize sakura was living alone, and no one was (or ever) taking care of him when he was sick. that made me think suo has (or had...?!) a better home-life and lives with someone loving - found or blood. maybe he does live with his master, but lies for his own protection? is it to protect his friends and furin? is he hiding from a dangerous group, individual? does he live with terrible family? if thats the case, what led him to his master, but then back to his horrible family?? ๐ง๐ง
sakura is getting angry and will absolutely push for answers after this. sakura is pushy and wont let him get away with this lmao suo absolutely KNOWS that ๐ค
poor nirei is so anxious, worried, revists the market street where he last saw suo and remembers him saying "you better train harder". calls him again, and doesnt even realize that suo answers. 12 seconds into the call, and suo said nothing, like he was waiting for nirei to say something first... *caseoh voice* LORD HAVE MERCY

so many questions... suo ONLY shows himself to nireiโ๏ธ ๐ญ๐ญ asshole move lmaooo but its so meaningful and shows how close they are :') i cant imagine what suo could possibly say though. will he be honest, lie or avoid? i dont think theres anything suo will say that nirei wont take to sakura and the others... everyone knows something is seriously wrong, and they wont drop this despite anything suo says!! ๐ญ
its been a while since i read noroshi and i tend to not remember manga as well as i do as anime, but a big thing in noroshi was when sakura almost accepted endo's demand to leave furin. suo and nirei both (lovingly) punched him and scolded him for even considering it. and later, suo and nirei told the class about what happened, and talked about sakura's low self esteem and how they need to keep an eye on sakura/remind him he's loved. in keisei arc, suo was pissed when endo told sakura he doesn't belong at furin.
if suo is going through something similar and is struggling with staying/belonging at furin... again, sakura and nirei are absolutely not going to accept that. they'll fight for him and to stay and shower him with so much love. and it'll leave room for some GREAT parallel scenes and bonding moments between suo and sakura!!
i can imagine sakura being upset over how kind suo has been to him, telling him he belongs at furin - but suo doesnt think the same of himself, and that makes sakura question if the supportive things suo has told him were genuine.
sigh... we thought 2 weeks were long, now we have to wait a WHOLE MONTH to see what happens next... IM CRASHING TF OUT I NEED MY BABIES NOWWW ๐ญ๐๐ฅฒ
