Hello! This is my first time posting on here :) I actually wanted to post this like a week or two ago but I kinda…forgot 😅

Meet my mcs: Serval “Savvy” Dulcedram (Gryffindor), Lynx Dulcedram (Hufflepuff), Josephine “JJ” Journeigh (Slytherin), and Alexsander Sokolov (Ravenclaw). I haven’t finalised any of their lore yet, I’m still figuring out what I want their lives to look like

I was honestly just messing around the entire day at work because I haven't gotten any new tasks assigned to me...yet. I do have another sketch below which is currently in the line art stage already.

Student Records!

I finally managed to finish Savvy and Lynx's student record! I'll make one for Aleks and JJ some time later, but for now, I give you the Dulcedram siblings (*^_^*)

I was working on making photocards for myself to use when I (unfortunately) return to school after I finish my internship. Dreading when that day comes tbh 😔

The colors are very off for Savvy because I made it little late into the night (I'll probably fix it later)

I told myself I wasn't going to shade the artwork. Clearly I abandoned the ship's deck.

silly/entertaining thoughts I have for my ocs

Lynx

Lynx being secretly a chocolate frog card collector. He acts serious and strict in front of students as well as faculty, but every time he goes to Hogsmeade, he immediately walks straight to Honeydukes.

Being an early bird and taking early morning walks. Doesn't matter the weather, by the time 4 a.m. hits that boy is out and gone for several hours.

Lynx wants to have a pet, it's a wish he's had since he was a kid. Unfortunately, he is allergic to creatures (magical or not) with fur.

Aleks

He never checked Sammy's gender. Neither he or the others know if Sammy is a male or female.

He's not great with surprises or ambush attacks. He isn't scared, but he does freeze up like a deer in headlights. He's also more of ranged attacker, only getting up close to stun people using mandrakes.

He kept getting transferred from different Magical Schools. Hogwarts is the longest he's ever been in and he hasn't moved since.

JJ

JJ watches people from high areas in Hogwarts (beams, ledges, trees, windowsills, and so on), it's how she catches troublemakers quickly as a prefect.

She likes making up ghost stories by the campfire when she's with the pack, and often helps with training.

JJ likes soups and stews a lot. If soups or stews were present in the dining hall, she'd finish all of it, even going to other houses' tables to refill her own bowl.

Savvy

She's got a huge sweet tooth and constantly hogs anything that's sweet. Her favorite flavor is red velvet. (She'll fight over it if she has to)

She often changes her wand handles but she has a favorite wand handle that she uses most of the time.

She's a sleep talker. Which has creeped out Lynx when they were younger.

Savvy also has poor vision like Lynx. She's never told anyone about it, and often squints.

Decided to take a small break from drawing to take an in-game photo of Savvy, as well as Aleks.

When I was trying to take a photo of Aleks, I struggled to get a picture of him looking up at a sign in Hogsmeade (the one with the owl) because I did not like how I framed any of the pictures at all. That was until I remembered the very large sign just outside the entrance that I passed lol

I had actually taken one of JJ but when I checked my gallery it turns out my laptop did not save it and the file corrupted 💔

Thank you @shadsq for asking! To answer your questions,

2. If they could choose what animagus form they would take, would it be the same? Or would they want to want to have a different animal form?

JJ -> She would remain a cat, however she would have chosen to be a black cat instead, it makes it easier to spy on Rookwood’s cronies, especially in the dark. She remains a cat since it’s much easier to dodge spells, disappear into the shadows, and climb onto high areas (especially in Hogwarts).

Lennox -> He has an animagus form, but doesn’t appear in it often. He's a wolf animagus with charcoal grey fur. He'd change his into a Harpy Eagle. Based on what I observed while watching documentaries of these gorgeous but very intimidating raptors, I think it'd fit him quite nicely.

Aleks -> Aleks would choose to be a border collie or a Raven if he could. While he hasn't quite been able to master the animagus spell himself, he is getting help from JJ and Professor Weasley. The reason for them is because he loves complex puzzles, he's driven by curiosity, and is protective of his friends. Though, if he were to succeed, he'd be a Shire, with a star, blaze, and snip marking combination on a liver chestnut or bay coat (totally not biased about the coat color, definitely not...👀)

Savvy -> Savvy also hasn't learned how to become one, however I do plan on making her a Bearded Vulture animagus. Knowing her, she wouldn't change it at all.

9. Were you inspired by characters from other media when making your mc? If so, which characters? And how did they influence your mc?

Aleks ↓

I took his personality from Zane, El Topo, and a little bit from Raleigh; those traits being Loyalty, reliability, pragmatism, and practicality. For his lore, Zane and Raleigh were the main inspirations, that being Zane and Raleigh experiencing loss of a family member (Zane's being his father, and Raleigh being his brother, Yancy). and Totoro for vibes.

Savvy ↓

For her backstory, mainly a mix of both Carmen and Alexia, what with Carmen also searching for answers about her origins and Alexia's brother kind of influencing Lynx and Constance's personality. Her personality is all four of them, well maybe a little less of Alexia's. Yaz, Carmen, and Rosalyn were a heavy influence on her appearance.

JJ ↓

I think it's very evident that Josephine's personality is taken from all four of them. She's a good mix between a very fierce, untamed warrior and a witty, highly perceptive, sharp-tongued noble. Her lore was inspired by Sypha and San's stories. Appearance-wise, I took inspiration from Sasha and Romelle.

Lennox ↓

Lynx's personality was HEAVILY inspired by Ponyo's father, Fujimoto. He's strict with Savvy and would do anything to keep her safe from accidentally hurting herself anyone around her. Even so, he does share traits from the other three, he's a very reserved person, keeping others at arm's length and refusing to get close to anyone, a hard-working man who's prideful of his craftsmanship, and highly rational. His appearance was inspired by Crackle. His lore was inspired by Alhaitham and Space outlaw.

11. What is your mc’s blood status? How does it affect their time at Hogwarts? How does it affect their home life?

Lennox & Savvy (Purebloods) -> Being apart of high-class society is easier for Lynx than it is for Savvy. Being purebloods, they often have to maintain their image in public, especially as a family of advanced potioneers. While Lynx checks all the boxes that Savvy lacks.

Lynx is often favored by Constance, and Savvy often ends up getting reprimanded by her. Despite this, Lynx does often try to get close to Savvy in hopes he could repair their friendship but Savvy ends up rejecting it out of disdain and spite for her own brother.

Aleks (Half-blood) -> Aleks gets along well with most people in Hogwarts, including Faculty members, and is often the favorite senior that the younger students go to ask for advice or to simply pet Sammy.

At home, Aleks helps out his mother with chores, shipping out wand wood to the Ollivanders, and taking care of his little siblings who often come to help him with collecting wood, even though it's not needed since he has magic.

JJ (Undisclosed) -> The faculty does not question about it much as Beryl ensures professor Weasley that the "Ministry is working on it" while only giving her vague or unclear details about the "findings." Josephine also avoids any questions about it from other students. However, Professor Sharp has been keeping a bit of a close eye on her as of recent, which has caused JJ to become wary of him constantly.

JJ switches between living in London with Beryl and out in the wilderness with Ilvan. She is able to switch quickly between being a well-mannered lady and being a dangerous ambusher and would partake in hunts with the pack and Ilvan.

13. If your mc opened the repository, how did absorbing all that power affect them, if it did at all?

Savvy -> Considering she is the mc in my au, I already have plans for how her future would end up. After everything she'd been through, she takes it for herself, to ensure no one else would be able to take it, and harnesses it's magic. In my au, Sebastian is also evil, well, in a way. With her new found powers, Savvy asks Sebastian to be her right-hand man with the promise of curing Anne, to the point she also harvests her own magic and gifts it to him as a pledge of alliance.

The others might not have ancient magic for themselves, however, let's say in an alternate universe, they were ancient magic wielders. What would they do?

Lennox -> He'd keep the repository sealed and the magic it holds contained. He'd burn the journals, and even stops using the magic himself, maybe even giving it up entirely as a means to not draw any more attention to himself or the people he loves. He'd definitely come down to the repository to guard it every once in a while.

JJ -> JJ, despite tempted by the idea of all that power being for herself, she knows better than to try controlling such a powerful force. She'd occasionally consume the magic, but only a little amount of it, she's very careful about using said magic in public and would only use it when she's alone or far enough in the wild.

Aleks -> Aleks would be laying down the pros and cons of his options before ultimately absorbing it—not for selfish reasons but he figured it'd be safer than letting it stay in a place where someone might one day walk in by accident. Unfortunately, the power is too much for him to handle, which causes him to isolate himself in fear of hurting the people he loves and cares about. Little does he know, the magic is slowly consuming him.

So basically, scrolling through my saved reels, I stumbled upon an audio I considered making a small animation of for my fandomless OCs, but I told myself to do it at a later time (me when I lie instead of storyboarding it 😒)

My idea for it is, well…their major flaws. In the format of “Do no evil, Speak no evil, See no evil, and Hear no evil.” Then I thought to myself, “what if it was the gang instead?” And it led me to this point

(Oldest to youngest)

Do no evil (Lynx): He's too much of a perfectionist to step out his boundaries. He constantly holds back on his abilities; enough to get an outstanding on his grades, but not enough to actually show his true magical potential. He's afraid that if he does go beyond the line, he'll end up like his father (does this make any sense? I'm hoping it does).

Speak no evil (JJ): She's very careful when it comes to revealing anything about herself, in fear that her words might be used against her in any way, shape, or form. It's a subconscious response to a memory of her childhood prior to being taken in by the Journeighs.

Hear no evil (Aleks): He's a very neutral person. While neutrality isn't inherently a bad trait, it also isn't a good trait. On the positive side, his way of judgement is objective, forming conclusions from reasoning and factual evidence rather than bias and/or emotion. On the negative end of neutrality however, it makes him fail to align with ethical standards, divine/spiritual laws, and moral righteousness, which depending on the context and severity of the situation, is extremely bad.

See no evil (Savvy): She doesn't see that her methods of achieving her goals are bad. She constantly uses the dark arts, commits felonies, and often breaks the rules of Hogwarts. She blinds herself to the reality of her own actions, convinced that it isn't "evil" or "bad" if she's ultimately helping someone. A good example of this context is her helping Sebastian find a cure Anne, in which she's constantly dabbling in dark magic to help him.

Welp, hello folks

I was on a call with my cousin last night while doing this. I forgot that I had the Papa Louie Pals app on my phone and just spent the entire night finishing my first af attack and doing this lmao

Had to make this modern AU for them, and try to visualize their styles (Lynx is just dark academia both ways so his was the easiest lmao)
