I got back into some old interests of mine. I think you can guess what fandoms Iโm in from this, but I just thought Iโd draw her in her cat form for once :)

So basically, scrolling through my saved reels, I stumbled upon an audio I considered making a small animation of for my fandomless OCs, but I told myself to do it at a later time (me when I lie instead of storyboarding it ๐)

My idea for it is, wellโฆtheir major flaws. In the format of โDo no evil, Speak no evil, See no evil, and Hear no evil.โ Then I thought to myself, โwhat if it was the gang instead?โ And it led me to this point

Do no evil (Lynx): He's too much of a perfectionist to step out his boundaries. He constantly holds back on his abilities; enough to get an outstanding on his grades, but not enough to actually show his true magical potential. He's afraid that if he does go beyond the line, he'll end up like his father (does this make any sense? I'm hoping it does).
Speak no evil (JJ): She's very careful when it comes to revealing anything about herself, in fear that her words might be used against her in any way, shape, or form. It's a subconscious response to a memory of her childhood prior to being taken in by the Journeighs.
Hear no evil (Aleks): He's a very neutral person. While neutrality isn't inherently a bad trait, it also isn't a good trait. On the positive side, his way of judgement is objective, forming conclusions from reasoning and factual evidence rather than bias and/or emotion. On the negative end of neutrality however, it makes him fail to align with ethical standards, divine/spiritual laws, and moral righteousness, which depending on the context and severity of the situation, is extremely bad.
See no evil (Savvy): She doesn't see that her methods of achieving her goals are bad. She constantly uses the dark arts, commits felonies, and often breaks the rules of Hogwarts. She blinds herself to the reality of her own actions, convinced that it isn't "evil" or "bad" if she's ultimately helping someone. A good example of this context is her helping Sebastian find a cure Anne, in which she's constantly dabbling in dark magic to help him.

Ranting about my OCs lore while I work on my af attacks
This may be a bit angsty but, I've been thinking what they would be/do as adults. I feel like after some point, Savvy does not complete her years in Hogwarts and ends up running away to break Sebastian out of Azkaban (Ominis told the headmaster about Sebastian accidentally killing his uncle with the opinion of Anne instead of MC's). I should mention she specifically took the apparition class for this reason specifically because she feels like Sebastian is possibly the only person who understands her position and frankly he's the only person she trusts after everything she's gone through.
She did date Natty in her 5th year but it doesn't last long after Natty finds out about Savvy's new goals (which is ultimately completing her father's wishes) and the fact that she's Rookwood's daughter. Natty would feel conflicted, having been trying to take the Rookwood gang down while simultaneously unknowingly helping Savvy look for him. Lynx would try to step in and stop Savvy but would end up having to fight him due to their conflicting beliefs, which results in Lynx's wand being blasted in half. JJ would become more wary of the Dulcedrams but would still hear Lynx's reasonings out of hiding such a secret before slowly trusting him again.
What was Rookwood's wish and his reasoning for chasing after Savvy's magic?
Well, to answer that question, I planned to give Victor another reason for trying to take the magic for himself (aside from his canonical reasonings). Ever since the night he accident murdered Venus, he's lived with the guilt. Almost having constant nightmares that repeated the memory again and again. When he joined forces with Ranrok, he didn't think much of the magic that Ranrok claims to be extremely powerful, Victor was only planning on using it to gain power and control over wizarding kind. But that changed when he found out that his own daughter was the person who held such magic. It kindled a small feeling of hope that maybe he could still reverse the damage he's done and "bring Venus back to life." Thus began his pursuit to acquire it at all cost.
While I know personally that resurrection isn't too possible (not complete ones that is), I planned it to be more..memories and feelings that were put into a flawed clone/vessel of Venus using memories from a pensieve or taking human emotions from another soul. Now, I feel like Victor would not get the full image of how powerful this magic truly is until his fight with his own daughter.
Edit: I should clarify, "resurrecting" Venus was his last request before he died, which Savvy did catch and it became her goal too after she thought over the idea all through out the remainder of her 5th and 6th year. And apologies for the any spelling mistakes or missing words, I'm writing this at 2 a.m. on a Sunday Night.
Don't worry, I'm still drawing my children, but as of now I have to momentary pause progress on them to focus on work, art fight prep (yes I joined), and school stuff. But I'm almost done with most. For work I only have a few revisions to take care of and just flat colors one piece of artwork; for school, I had a (mandatory) test that I can only hope I passed (ใโฝใ); and for artfight, I just need to finish 1 more oc reference (more characters will be added during the event).
For my the quartet, I had actually finished sketching out their outfits for their references, and regarding the student records, I only have Aleks' icon to finish o(๏ฟฃโฝ๏ฟฃ)๏ฝ

เน Garreth actually saw Loanda as a rival at first, since the moment she first set foot in the potions classroom in their first year, she proved to be the newest potions prodigy of their age and Sharp's favourite. A title Garreth would willingly fight for. Of course, not in an overly serious way.
เน It was a one sided rivalry, however, for Lo hasn't actually noticed Garreth until their second year, where he discovered his real talents of not just adding to recipes, but creating them himself, and where his habit of exploding cauldrons began. She found these qualities endearing, just like the rest of his.
เน When Lo became aware of Garreth's stance (rivalryโจ) towards her, though, she started to almost provoke him by doing even more as The Perfect Princess and Professor Sharp's Pet a lot of their peers considered her. Answering quiz questions in potions faster than him, and therefore gaining points for their house sooner than him, brewing perfect concoctions, and getting the 'head pats' from Sharp Garreth always secretly, desperately wanted, and so on.
เน This resulted in him actually getting mad at her. All throughout their second and third year. And while she would playfully comment on his experiments in passing, to which he'd just laugh, and would mix up his ingredients, to which he would shoot her a mock angered look until then, now he'd ignore her in the halls and hiss at her when he didn't find the mallowseet where it was supposed to be.
เน Lo realised things weren't really going well; and so she toned down her efforts only to just be able to remain on top of her beloved class, and would try to catch Garreth in the halls โ often in vain.
เน One time, though, when she did manage to get him to stop for her, she invited him for a round of butterbeer; to which he said offendedly: his prototype of a similar brew, a concoction in the works, is much better. No, she didn't mean to focus on the butterbeer, she wanted to talk. After some begging, Garreth resigned and agreed to meet his rival later. This was around the end of their third year.
เน When they did meet, Loanda was careful; not in a way that would make him uncomfortable, though. Just playful in a way that wouldn't hurt him further. He did loosen up. And she did, too.
เน Starting from their fourth year, they developed completely different attitudes towards each other. The rivalry remained, but playfulness found its way through the holes of their forming friendship. The potions knowledge of Lo deteriorated a bit over the summer as the curriculum grew stricter and harder, and she finally proved to be a worthy competitor for Garreth. Now she'd enjoy their competition much more as well.
เน What he didn't know about her, was her depression she developed over the years. Coming from a wealthy muggle home, where her parents would shut their 'little princess' up with mountains of gifts she not necessarily needed, she grew lonely..and found joy only in the ordinary, which was absent from her life back home. She'd get better when she was at Hogwarts. When she was with him.
เน They stepped into their fifth year still as potions rivals โ fighting for The Great Sharp's graces โ, but as rivals who were friends. They'd hang out in their free periods and after classes ended in the afternoon, and would sit together at the Gryffindor table in the morning. They'd do their potions homework together, and fall asleep from boredom in history of magic class beside each other. Being with each other became second nature to both aspiring potions masters.
เน They seemed to be stuck, however. As time passed and they grew closer, it became painfully obvious to everyone but them, that they were long ago past the point of mere friendship. Now they'd share secrets and different experiences with each other, one always telling the other about either muggle or wizarding traditions. He was her Sun, and she was his Pole Star. Both painfully oblivious.
เน You bet their friends tried every little nudge to get them to admit it, but they could not admit something they weren't aware of, could they? The answer was always the same: they're just friends. Somehow. They didn't even think about the other liking them, no, they didn't even know they themselves liked the other.
เน It seemed like nothing could change their situation, until one time, Imelda Reyes of all people, graciously revealed to them in a moment of Garreth and Lo acting particularly sweet and Imelda having particularly enough of it, that it's clear as the sun, how she's head over heels for him, and that he's utterly smitten with her. Coming from Imelda, this made them come to a halt.
เน They sat with their feelings. But Lo promised herself, once she realised that their friends were all right all along, at least about her, that this wouldn't change anything between her and Garreth. They'd remain the good friends they are, no feelings matter other than his. Garreth, however, thought differently.
เน He started to accept it, and even lean into his newfound discovery: the butterflies fluttering in his gut whenever Loanda would smile at him or laugh at his jokes. He started to act differently. And then before he knew it, their fifth year was over.
เน The parting at the end of the year proved to be more difficult than it ever was before. But they'd keep in touch in the summer. And when they met again at King's Cross on the first day of September, she jumped into his arms. Lo realised then, that she wouldn't ever be able to keep the promise she made to herself. She loved Garreth too much for that.
เน They stepped into their six year as something entirely different, and naturally began acting more than friends, this time on purpose. Soon they'd both admit they had been blind to their own and the other's feelings for years, and after Gryffindor won their first house match of the year, the common room roared louder for the lovebirds' first kiss than for the victory of the quidditch team. ;) Garreth and Loanda officially became a couple whose long anticipated relationship was worth cheering for. (I'm cheering the loudest as I'm writing lol)
เน They kept on acting disgustingly sweet much to Imelda's frustration, and to the delight of not one Professor who made the bet their fourth year: they would get together eventually. Poor Professor Sharp had to invite many a colleague for a round of butterbeer at Sirona, for he misjudged Garreth and Loanda some time ago..but he had to admit to himself, he was glad his belief was faulted ;)
and they lived happily ever after until they split up a bit after seventh year mwahahahaha
