I full heartedly believed that he did at some point genuinely cared about the Alicein family. However his vengeance and way of manipulating things could have started from the very first moment he met Kuro.

Now we're firmly getting into his game plan. Things are unraveling. The truth is coming out. Where as he may have cared about certain Alicein family members at some point, he may have had to set his foot down on that to achieve whatever his goal is. He allowed himself to care about his pawns a lil to much, and the trust that he got from them...he must now destroy it. If he allows Misono to truly love him...than he can't do what he's intending to do...so his bond with Misono must break...possibly for Misono's safety even.

However his beef with Mikado is on purpose 🤣 our smexy vampire destroyed that guy, and he damned right fucking enjoyed doing so as well!
