What the fuck is wrong with people? Let these people do their job. I feel like so many in the SWTOR community are like, fuck you devs, you can’t do anything right and it’s like, this is a really (REALLY) big fucking deal. Let them do their jobs and shut the fuck up. Literally, someone responded with, “You guys really can’t do anything right can you”. I mean, I certainly don’t defend everything Bioware does, and I have serious issues with many of the story decisions they make but please, before you start to complain about today’s extended downtime, remember that it’s better they take their time than to rush this. Go outside. Draw something. Write something.  YOU’LL BE OK WITHOUT THE GAME FOR A DAY.

Good thing about merges: easier for people to attend to each other's events (I haven't forgotten Marr Convention it'll be scheduled after merge) And... few months ago I was made guilmaster of dead guild on JC. But since I didn't really play on JC anymore it was left unattended. Now I have no urge to really keep up a guild but might finally go ahead and rename/do something with it as it's merged with TEH.

I haven’t personally encountered this bug, but it doesn’t hurt to be on the safe side. Think I’ll have fun and park everyone at random bars cantinas (apart from the fleet).

In case you are not actively following the Rift forums, you may have missed their announcement back in December that server merges were upcoming. They also reassured us that:

“The only impact to players will be collisions with player/guild names”.

Is the missing/lost legacy storage a known issue with EA/BW already? Or do we all need to report it before they acknowledge it? I’m missing everything from one server.

Gotta love NC’s support, you contact them because you feel like your name has been stolen and they respond with oh we can’t help you cause you’re stealing someone’s name. *sigh* I did figure out that whoever took the names Shivers and Snow is on Danaria-Asmo, so I sent them a friend request on an alt . I do wonder if they are actual toons or just alts of people trying to save names. Regardless it’s a quite frustrating situation, all of my friends have their names or managed to get their names back so far.
