Search and Rescue training happens at minimum monthly, and serves all users of the Park. This team trains at the highest levels and is always looking for recruits who are interested in learning about state-of-the-art SAR gear and techniques, and can show up to support and train regularly. Though the federal shutdown stalled the training schedule a bit, JOSAR is back in full swing and continuing their mission to help those who got lost, planned poorly... or just had an accident.
