Wednesday, Mimi (Ryan's Mom), took us to Joe Huber restaurant! I posted earlier about reading outside while Lydia was playing. We'll, I've been a tad reluctant to post this, but we had some just terribly subpar food. Mom had a salad, Bran and Lydia had chicken and dumplings, and I had the fried catfish with slaw and CnD for sides. Table came with fried rolls with apple butter. Chicken and dumplings were saltier than a bag of Lay's. Wtf. Also came out lukewarm and cold in the middle. Microwaved. The slaw was weird and zesty. Not bad, but was not what I expected with the fish. Fish was excellent. Mom's salad was normal. Service was excellent, and a great building.
