Blue Diamond smiled, hand moving away to rest in the lap of the matriarch. Blue eyes fell upon the pearl — taking a moment to AMIRE the pearl made JUST FOR HER.  She was lovely; perfect, even. Blue hadn’t expected any less.

“ Excellent, “  Blue replied, her voice soft.  “ I know you will serve me well. “

The monarchs face shifted, an inquisitive smile upon the Diamond’s lips. Blue placed a hand underneath her chin — BRIGHT BLUE EYES still focused on the pearl at her feet.   “ Tell me, Pearl, “ she began,   “ How have your first few hours of life been ? Have you been properly educated of your duties and responsibilities as a Diamond’s pearl ? “

   This was all so surreal. Starting over, loving again, talking to people without trying to kill them... Spinel has been visibly nervous her whole time on Homeworld, even after being shown her new room, after being assured she wouldn’t be left alone again...

“So, Homeworld, huh? It’s... not what I expected.” She’s decided to bother Blue Pearl, the DIamonds busy for the time being. “I neva really got to see much outside a Pink’s garden... It’s... kinda nerve-rackin’, seein’ so many Gems in once place...”

For the first time in it’s history Gemkind was at war with itself as a small revolt had begun to spiral into a full fledge revolution which threatened the hegemony of the Diamonds. When news had reached Yellow Diamond she instantly began organizing an impromptu meeting with Blue Diamond in order to devise a strategy to destroy this rapidly growing rebellion before it got out of control. Being Yellow Diamond’s Pearl, Yellow Pearl had the incredible luck of being privy to such information -since she was the one who had first informed Yellow Diamond- while it was still fresh and uncensored by the authorities. Almost immediately after Yellow Diamond had organized the meeting, the Diamond set off to get to the designated meeting spot.

Yellow Pearl found it difficult to compose herself as she stood outside the massive complex. It shouldn’t of been possible for such a conflict to arise, Gems were made to be subservient to the will of the Diamonds to be their loyal servants, and this rebellion wanted to secede, to leave the Diamonds. Despite all these thoughts though, Yellow Pearl was able to stand at attention in a most statuesque manner. For a while that was.. Yellow Pearl turned to face her counterpart, a frown adorning her face. “Have you heard of the situation on Earth?”
