Having been so far neither a meme-consumer nor a copyright-professional the entire “Art. 13 - Is the EU destroying internet culture?”-debate swept past me without much notice. And once more, I found myself in the difficult situation to inform myself and get involved with a debate carried out by others for a while and produced much content on. Fortunately, I came across this structured compilation of the debate by CREATe, the UK Copyright and Creative Economy Centre of the UofGlasgow which provides an overview of the legislative process, official documents and statements, private initiatives as well as critically assesses the most controversial parts of the EU Copyright Reform based on existing research.
PS: Feeling still quite illit-lexterate, i thought about founding a support group for ‘according-to-their-age-supposed-to-be-but-not-actually-/wannabe-digital natives. Anyone in?
