I think one of my favorite parts of canon aruani is Mikasa's " when did Armin get a love interest?"

Like, from her PoV it comes out of nowhere. Which means that our girl heard that Armin spent the past few yrs visiting Titan Snow White and went " ah yes, completely normal Armin behaviour "

One thing i haven't seen mentioned like, at all, is how all of what's left of 104th was there to see Armin become the Colossal. They pulled him out of the titan

(Am i the only one who saw that scene as a very fucked up bonding activity? Levi and Hange watching the kids as they cheered, as they pulled him out. I was halfway expecting Levi to pull out a whistle and go " all right, get this done and hit the showers")

And yes, there is very much an element of body horror there, but I'm not focusing on that rn.

My question is, who of the 104th would tell Annie " i saw your boyfriend naked before you"?

I'm a multishipper at heart, so i think one of the funniest romantic triangles could be aruani ( armin x annie) and Arurei ( armin x reiner) simply due to the current situation

Annie is on a missions. She knows that, sooner oe later, she'll have to kill the people that stay besides her. One small crush would be nothing, if not for her romantic rival technically being HER BOSS

Reinerz warrior self is Looking Respectully, while his soldier Self is very much NOT, bcs what's a little homoeroticism in the army. At most he's questioning weather him being into both Armin and Historia counts as bi cuz they technically look the same

Armin would do a whole Light Yagami body language analysis on behavior and somehow arrive at the Marley conclusion due to the sheer amount of attention he's putting into it, but between that and him stays a big blocky wall of " why would the two hottest ppl here be into me?" And the fact that his full time job is stopping Eren from tryin to bite the titans back

So a scene w the three of them has Reiner trying to flirt, annie giving him the most " bro, wtf?!" Expression she'd allow herself and Armin very much Not Seeing it

Armins speech post Rumbling is so good, ngl

Because it is, to its core, NOT an Armin speech. Like yes, our boy is Good at Speeches ( tm) esp inprovised ones, he if verbose, he knows how to negotiate, but thay speech was more or less " Fuck y'all, if i still had Colossal, do you think you'd still he standing?!"

And you know what? He deserved it. That sentance was the resolution of Armins Horrible Terrible No Good very bad 5 yrs and then having to talk Zeke into Wanting to Live. That is a Chore. Babygirl deserves to rage.

But the funniest part was all of the Eldians looking at him and the visible mental mayh on 104th face like

" did... did Eren posess Armin? Is this something he can do?"

Like , that was such an Eren thing to yell, you know everyone was worried
