After awhile he takes the lot of them back to the frat. He's glad Ike called him for this. They're a fun bunch of people.

Sean takes advantage of Sharla's presence to chat her up a bit. "The Greeks should be really close - same pool of friends and dating each other and so on. Mutually supporting."

But Sharla and Ike go way back. Like, way, way back. "So I'm doing my term paper on friction and modern synthetics." "And using that incident with the science teacher -" "And the bucket of goo and the roller skate, yeah. But the trouble is I need citations."

Delores apparently really did have a great time on her date with Sean, judging by the present she dropped off. Either that or she's telling him she hopes he gets hauled off and probed. But that's a lot of money to make a statement like that.

"Look, healthy mind, healthy body. If you want the coach to leave you alone you have to find some fun ways to move so you don't draw his attention." "I move! Some people just more naturally run to fat."

A friend of Ed's, called "Ike" of all things, calls to invite him along to the gamer heaven on the county line. Ike apparently has a wide acquaintance, many of them hotties.

The place is a bit crowded, even before they arrive; and Ed, who was supposed to come too, apparently bailed at the last minute. Seth has plenty of initiative for a situation like this; but you have to be able to actually get next to people in order to schmooze them.

Whoa - who is that smokin' older guy at the pool table? "Pull your tongue in - he's straight." "I don't know what you're talking about." "I do! You're looking at Rhett Hart. He lives around the corner from us in Widespot and he's married." "That proves nothing." "Fine, do what you want. Except - whatever you do, don't tell him he looks like Valentine Hart."

"The Greek life is great. You really should try it." "Oh, I've been to togas and things. But I'm really happy living alone right now."

Rhett does kind of look like Valentine Hart in those old sports drink commercials - it's the nose. He's probably used to really manly guys, then. Seth puts his best foot forward.

But Rhett practically ignores him in favor of chatting up the college girls. Well, you can't really blame a guy for that.

On the way home, Seth stops off at the student union to slip into something a little more studly and look around a bit. No hot guys here; but that girl over there is fine!

Her name is Gloria, she knows people at the sorority, and she does not know good music when it's mentioned to her. "Ugh, no!" "But the piano solo -" "Who cares about the piano solo? Have you listened to those disgusting lyrics?" "Who listens to lyrics?" "I do!"

Nonetheless, she condescends to accept a coffee over which to continue the discussion.

This guy she shares a class with can butt right out, though.

"Oh, I get you into a restroom and suddenly you're clingy? Bit old-fashioned there!"

"I'm just more comfortable when no one can see me." "You know nobody out there cares, right?" "My head knows that. The rest of me was raised by a homophobic dad." "Fair."

It takes a little while for Ed to relax, but couching the dance as a lesson does the trick.

"Seriously? You're ticklish? Through all those layers?" "Hey, don't judge me!" "No judgement here."

"That was fun. We should do this again sometime."

"I love dancing to your sound, man!" "Are you dressed?" "Of course not." "Please do not dance to my sound with no clothes on."

"Y'all are a little late changing for the toga, aren't you?" "Seth didn't say he was throwing one so we were caught kind of short."

"He/they, huh? My favorite pronouns are you/me."

"But corporate sponsorship is a sign of acceptance! They used to not want our money!"

"Yes! I've never seen anybody actually pull off this trick before!" "The frat is once again justified as an educational institution."

Seth gets a certain "closet" vibe from Edward Chert, and guys are probably easier to get to bed than girls are, so he asks him out to lunch.

"You do know this is a date, right?" "Um..well…" "I just want to be clear on that point."

"I've never danced with a guy."

"Yeah, I can tell." "Sorry!" "No biggy."

"Here, try a bite -" "Excuse me, that fork's been in your mouth!" "So?"

"This kind of dancing I can do." "We're a little in the way here, though. Want to go next door to the bowling alley?"
