For some reason, the table they had the cake it seemed very intersectable - first Adie and Morgan played cops and robbers through it, then Teeny put Seby down in the middle of it. But he managed to grow up regardless, so that's okay.

While everyone was downstairs congratulating Shae, Cave hopped into one of the plush beds with Edward.

"Oh, I get you into a restroom and suddenly you're clingy? Bit old-fashioned there!"

"I'm just more comfortable when no one can see me." "You know nobody out there cares, right?" "My head knows that. The rest of me was raised by a homophobic dad." "Fair."

It takes a little while for Ed to relax, but couching the dance as a lesson does the trick.

"Seriously? You're ticklish? Through all those layers?" "Hey, don't judge me!" "No judgement here."

"That was fun. We should do this again sometime."

Edward earnestly believed Fairy deserved someone better than him—someone who wasn’t hung up on several other men. Or at least someone who wasn’t such a workaholic.

Needless to say, Priene was distraught to witness Edward canoodling with her dad—in front of everyone! That didn’t even cover how betrayed she felt at Artie. After all their conversations, it simply looked like her father was a lying, cheating bastard.
