• seth grew up in east erie as the youngest of the three-kid worley family. they were super normal -- like, even for the standard of suburbs outside east erie because lbr is anyone in the town “““normal””” normal? 

• he was the kid in high school who was so! excited! to be there!!! every day and loved everyone and high fived half the hallway while whistling zip a dee doo dah. i now realize seth was a disney princess woops.

• like he played basketball but was also in the band and also cried in health class one time but was so genuine about it that no one could make fun of him. seth was just one of those super true to himself assholes YOU ARE SIXTEEN HOW ARE YOU ALREADY THIS COMFORTABLE WITH URSELF no one knows

• ... and then he started dating shivani kamala and it was amazing because she was amazing. and his family was AGGRESSIVELY OKAY WITH IT like mom and pop worley plz calm down you are not racist we understand thank you

• that wasn’t true of all people in town, however. and seth didn’t know it. so when he and shiv were on a date one day, he never saw them coming.

• they were beaten within an inch of their lives and left for dead in an east erie junkyard.

• his parents had his whole family out of town living in oregon within two weeks, basically as soon as seth was stable enough to leave the hospital.

• long story short, he and shiv haven’t talked since then. seth was in a whole lot of therapy but still struggles with ptsd and he doesn’t exactly always have respect for his body? like he’s willing to go into dangerous situations and sort of enjoys getting hurt it’s a whole mess.

• but now he’s back in town with his stormchaser team!!! ostensibly to collect weather data but loooool we all know it’s for shiv we alllll know it

• what he needs: old bros he hasn’t seen since he was seventeen? all of his stormchaser fam who i’m going to put up a request for. the bystander who witnessed the attack on him and shiv and did nothing about it is still up for grabs. and his older siblings would be cool if you’re looking for a family for folks in their forties.
