Luckily for me, i have never read the books. Loved the TV show (but mainly because of Tony Hale).

There is one rule in adapting stuff, you gotta change some things to make it new.

Loved the added drama, depth, and complexity they write into it.

I tried watching Elle because Matt Oberg is in it. There are some parts that caught my attention but ultimately I find these "main character energy" shows annoying and non-relatable. I don't think she was this annoying in the movie. Possibly because Elle as a teenager is annoying as some teenagers are irl.
