I notice you like trios of characters in these games. Are you going to do it for Skyrim also?
It’s a possibility! For both of us, Skyrim is actually our last favorite game in the series, and it’s always been hard for me personally to get attached to a Dragonborn/ characters in it. Skyrim feels less like a game where it’s FUN to expand on topics that didn’t get enough attention (like the Mythic Dawn with Dondras or the Twin Lamps in Morrowind) but more like a hard requirement. And you have to do it a LOT because Skyrim doesn’t seem nearly as interested as engaging with TES lore as a whole as the previous two games - even lore IT ADDS! Dragons are so cool in TES and yet I think Skyrim did them dirty.
Currently our idea is to focus on a DB from Solstheim because I think the Dragonborn DLC is by far the most interesting questline/area in the game. There’s fun opportunities to expand on past games’ lore because it’s a returning location AND the Skaal have ties to the ancient dragon cult. And Miirak shows up, obviously. As well as Mora, so theres a tangible Daedric presence again.
We’re thinking she’s a little idiot that got dropped off from the port as a baby. Dree and Mae raise her as their daughter. She has no idea her dad is Nerevarine - she thinks argonians just Must Live That Long, like elves do. She might also be Martin’s granddaughter from when he was being a slut in the 3rd era (but that will never come up, it’s just really funny)
