Relieved and assured that he isn’t hurting the merman, Bokuto is galvanised into further exploration. Using two hands now, he strokes at the other’s tail with open fascination, the occasional quiet ooh and aahs slipping from him as he studied a fin. When asked if he really thought so, Bokuto bobs his head in enthusiasm. “Of course, dude!” Lips pulled up in a bright grin when he finally pulls his attention away from his tail, still idly stroking. “I was watching you swim! You’re so graceful and fast, and beautiful at the same time so you’re real cool!” A thoughtful pause. “Oh oh, what do merfolk do under the water? What’s a normal day for you like?”
