Hey! What's the power hours concept? (this is setstudies hi)
Hi! :) The Power Hour concept is something I heard of from Gretchen Rubin, an author who does the podcast “Happier” (totally recommend, it’s my one of my favorites)!
Basically, if you have some non-urgent, nagging tasks (like emptying the trash, doing a load of laundry, doing the dishes) that don’t really have a deadline so you have trouble actually doing them, you put them on a “power hour” list. Then, you pick an hour during the day/week, set a 60 minute timer for yourself, and plow through that task list!
It was super helpful for me because I often get in ruts where I just dread doing certain things (I despise vacuuming), but when I tried this this week, I just turned on some fun music and kinda made a game out of it lol. I hope it works for you if you try it! :)
