Meteorfall had turned her life upside down. Not only did she lose her home and the only place she knew her entire life, she had lost the Professor as well. She was left only with a USB port she had pulled from the computer she found him by, before she was taken to ShinRa manor by their trusted guards. It was there she spent a year fighting off Geostigma, a year trying to figure out how to bring him back to life with this one device she was left with.
Even though he had somewhat partially brought himself back in the meantime, she had heard the news here and there from talk of others in town. It was then that she came to hate Vincent even more than she already had. He had not killed him once, but twice and now...now she swore vengeance if she ever crossed paths with him.
He had taken everything from her and as toxic as it was the Professor was the only one that really knew her inside and out. He had breathed life back into her when she nearly died years and years ago and all she repaid him with in the end was his death, but not if she could help it. There was one more chance, there was a way to fully restore him she just needed to figure out how, and needed a strong enough computer to decipher the code.
In the meantime she had made ShinRa manor her new residence and used the money now locked to her name to have a computer built, one that might just be able to do the trick. Though she had to make sure she didn’t mess up and that uncertainty is what made her hesitate in the end. For now she sat in that hidden basement with that drive in her hands, staring down at it in thought.
