i’ve never used that word. never once to anybody in the world. / peter ab some random cuss word . bc u know he doesn't cuss lmAO

“language.”   the   warning   was   out   before   he   even   THOUGHT   about   it   along   with   the   scolding   tone   to   match   and   steve   shook   his   head   at   the   fact   that   it   was   an   automatic   response.   it   was   OBVIOUS   to   him   that   peter   didn’t   mean   to   say   shit,   one   because   peter   never   cursed   and   two   because   he   almost   IMMEDIATELY   started   backtracking   once   the   curse   registered   to   him.   something   had   to   happen   today   that   steve   didn’t   know   because   peter   had   been   quiet   since   he   arrived   and   this   had   been   the   first   mishap   that   occurred   which   he   DOUBTED   was   cause   enough   for   peter   to   be   dropping   bombs,   so   it   had   to   have   been   building   up   and   this   was   the   last   straw.   “it’s   fine   peter.”   he   assured   him,   “is   there   something   you   want   to   TALK   about   though?”

but how did you get hurt?

steve   looked   at   the   YOUNG   man   with   a   slight   eyebrow   raise   before   he   shook   his   head   in   amusement   and   slowly   raked   a   wet   cloth   over   his   face,   WINCING   when   the   cloth   brushed   against   the   cuts   and   blisters   on   his   face.   one   thing   that   steve   REALIZED   in   his   growing   interactions   with   peter   was   that   the   kid   asked   a   lot   of   questions   and   it   wasn’t   bothersome   but   sometimes   the   things   he   asked   were   UNEXPECTED.   when   he   walked   into   the   room,   after   asking   about   his   whereabouts   for   pure   curiosity   sake,   he   guessed,   peter   asked   how   steve   got   hurt   and   it   was   almost   as   if   he   thought   that   steve   COULDN’T   get   hurt,   which   wasn’t   the   case,   but   the   implication   was   both   surprising   and   amusing.   “i   got   distracted   and   underestimated   someone   and   i   got   HIT.”   he   told   the   kid,   “i’m   fine   really,   this   is   nothing   compared   to   what   could   have   happened.”

i don’t feel good.

it   has   been   more   than   DIFFICULT   to   get   through   the   last   month   for   steve   and   he   could   only   imagine   how   some   of   the   others   felt.   for   the   most   part,   SOME   of   the   team   could   be   seen   going   in   and   out   of   the   avengers   headquarters,   so   it   wasn’t   much   of   a   surprise   to   see   peter   LOUNGING   about   as   he   walked   in,   “are   you   talking   about   physically   or   emotionally?”   the   blond   asked,   blue   eyes   filling   with   CONCERN   as   he   looked   the   younger   over   for   any   signs   of   an   outside   injury.   he   moved   around   the   room   QUIETLY   as   he   waited   for   peter   to   speak   before   he   picked   up   a   book   and   sat   on   the   couch   beside   him.

at   FIRST   sherlock   didn’t   reply,   he   simply   continued   to   the   medicine   cabinet   and   pulled   out   the   first   aid   kit   with   his   UNINJURED   arm   before   he   leaned   on   the   counter.   glancing   over   at   peter,   he   sighed   as   he   shook   his   head,   “that’s   what   happens   when   you   get   SHOT   mr.   parker.”   was   what   he   said   as   he   took   some   tweezers   and   slowly   plucked   the   bullet   from   his   arm.   “it   tends   to   cause   a   LITERAL   bloody   mess.”   his   continuation   held   a   conversational   tone   to   it,   as   if   getting   shot   was   an   EVERYDAY   occurrence   for   sherlock.   he   hadn’t   looked   up   from   his   wound   to   see   the   look   on   the   other’s   face,   but   he   could   probably   guess   what   kind   of   EXPRESSION   was   on   it.   once   his   wound   was   clean   as   bandaged,   sherlock   threw   his   bloody   shirt   to   the   garbage   and   put   away   the   first   aid   kit.   “anymore   questions   or   OBSERVATIONS   mr.   parker?”

why do you have a gun ?

he   remembered   the   first   time,   he’d   MET   the   kid.   bitten   by   a   radioactive   SPIDER   and   turned   himself   into   the   proclaimed   hero   SPIDERMAN.   sherlock   hadn’t   disliked   him   from   the   start,   which   was   a   first,   but   he   also   didn’t   find   his   questions   and   ENTHUSIASM   very   enduring   either.   his   thoughts   about   peter   parker   were   COMPLICATED.   somehow,   he   ended   up   being   responsible   for   escorting   the   kid   to   tony   for   their   meeting.   the   LOOK   he   gave   him   spoke   volumes   before   he   even   opened   his   MOUTH.   “because   mr.   parker,”   he   paused   and   smirked,   “i   might   be   planning   on   USING   it.”   he   said   as   he   went   back   to   his   phone,   “for   PROTECTION   of   course.”   he   said   before   the   kid   could   get   any   ideas   and   ask   more   DIFFICULT   questions.
