Given that I am from Europe and we don't have Netflix I really cannot imagine why you all use that when there is superior software available. Here is how you can setup XBMC:

In addition I saw on ebay a lot of "xbmc tvs" – android based hardware with xbmc media center. They are pretty cheap and you don't have to pay monthly subscription. I am not sure, though, is this "legal" in US, I don't see why it wouldn't be

Note: for people following this guide, you can execute Hub Wizard from fusion repo and it will install everything you need (1channel, icefilms, project free tv etc..)
