Lately I’ve been reading: I’m still making my way through 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami, which I absolutely love. And next to that I mainly read cookbooks as I’m making a database of recipes so I can search through them, but even if I weren’t doing that I like to read cookbooks like other people read novels. I’m currently sorting through The Nordic Cookbook, it’s well over 700 recipes (not all of them useful for someone in my place, boiled pilot whale with blubber and potatoes anyone?) and barely has any pictures so it’s a really dense read but I’m finding a lot of good recipes and also just inspiration and cooking techniques.
