Aside from all else, I would follow you merely for the interaction with Stef Ulery. You two are hilarious.
Okay, thanks Wayne.
Stef, maybe we should have our own talk show.

seulery replied to your post: Looking over the answers for where to start Doctor Who, and no one really got it right. What you should so is start with The Eleventh Hour, which is the 11th Doctor’s first episode. If you like it, watch through to the latest episodes. If you like all that, go back and start with the 9th Doctor (The beginning of the current series). And if you like all that, watch some classic stuff, especially the 4th Doctor.
I think people are purposely trying to mess with you. With that said, you need to start with episode 4, while juggling flaming tennis balls.
You always seem to have delicious and diverse foods on your plate. Does your son eat all this stuff too? Sincerely, a Mom who has super picky boys.
Hey Stef! Believe it or not, my kid is also a really picky eater, too. It's just that the foods he prefers would likely be considered weird to most other kids, I suppose. I mean, it would be like pulling teeth to get my kid to eat a hamburger (which he doesn't care for) or McDonald's chicken nuggets (which he has never liked for some explained reason). Everypony knows that McNuggets are delicious, amirite?
Our general rule is that the kid eats whatever we're eating, and he minimally has to try everything. My son has loved vegetables and super-spicy foods since he was a baby, but I found that once he started school and was exposed to other kids and their opinions about what counts as socially acceptable food items for the elementary school set, the boy has become increasingly picky.
The boy often makes the blanket statement that he hates dislikes vegetables, which I'm certain he learned from his schoolmates. But the reality is that he loves broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, mushrooms, eggplant, and cabbage. He's especially fond of kim chi, which he has always liked, oddly enough.
Maybe it's partially due to genetics? I imagine that the boy's birthmother ate a varied and diverse diet. Two of my son's favorite things to eat are beef tripe and marrow. Maybe it's because he sees me and busy daddy eating (and enjoying) that stuff? The boy also thinks that every dish should include either mushrooms or truffle oil.
I guess I'm trying to demystify food for my kid, and not place any value judgment or social bias about what's good and what's bad. If it tastes good, we'll eat it!
Thanks for your question!

Thongs here are butt floss.
Yes, that is correct on the West Coast as well. It's pretty Internationally accepted I believe.

My mom calls them thongs too. And we all laugh at her too. Lol
Well, I am glad someone else gets a razzing for it too :)
