Sehun found himself walking around the cherry blossom trees, looking at the fallen petals on the ground. It was beautiful. Who would have thought the world still had some beauty left?
In his mind Sehun wondered, will there ever be newborns again? Babies, children? Will he ever be able to hear sounds of children laughing or babies crying again? He almost scolded himself for not really helping human population by falling in love with a man, but that thought quickly passed by with a laugh and a shake of his head.
It was when he heard cries for help did he stop laughing and dwelling with random thoughts of the day.
He hurried deeper into the forest, knowing how Yifan and Luhan would be mad to know he wandered that deep inside the place after that one time---
That thought quickly vanished as his eyes landed upon the figure in struggle. It was a man that in any other circumstances or perhaps in another world, would have looked almost comically like, trapped like nothing more than an animal in some fish net and dangling over a tree. In all honesty Sehun thought this thing could happen only in movies but since life became one everlasting horror movie, perhaps it shouldn't come to him as too much of a surprise to see the man trapped like that.
The stranger that spotted Sehun called out for him.
"Hey you! Help! Please!" A gush of air pushed through but soon faded into nothing.
With a frown but no further word Sehun found himself climbing on the tree from which the net dangled, taking out his knife the moment he reached to the branch where the rope was tied and wordlessly he began cutting through the rope. The fall might hurt, he thought to himself, but whoever set this trap may hurt this guy a lot more.
When he saw the rope cut through enough and the net was just about to fall he closed his eyes for the sound of the fall but nothing came. When his eyes opened again he found the stranger on the ground safe and sound, looking up at him.
Another blow of air came by, this time blowing Sehun away and just before he could start panicking he found himself safely on the ground, looking at the guy he just saved.
"Thank you" The other spoke.
Sehun just nodded, bowed his head and before the other could say another word, he hurried his way out of the forest.
No need for thanks. Perhaps one day when I'm in need, someone could return the favor.
