   𝓦𝓲𝓷𝓽𝓻𝔂 air stings at Frank’s face as he regards the smaller girl carefully, lips drawn down and brows meshed together in concern. With chilly fingers he reaches out, carefully clasping one of her hands in his own.

“We’ll get out of here some day,” he says, but he’s not even sure of it himself anymore. “I promise.”

Susie had known, like she always seemed to. Being as she was more a shadow than a presence anyhow - she remembered. She remembered that night better than anyone and how it ended for all of them. Makes sense, right? Why they're trapped in that godforsaken place. She just didn't want to believe it. Susie loved Frank in her own way. In as much of a way as Susie could love anyone and she sat on the floor of the cabin, mask gripped in her hands. "I don't blame you, Frank. For what you did."

“And i always will.”Frank muttered softly as he stood there before her in the upstairs room he laid claim to. Empty and destroyed with various carvings in the walls from every one of his outbursts of rage. He had always taken it out on his room. Never daring to take it out on his Legion when he could avoid doing so.

He stood there in momentary silence, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed and a blank emotionless look on his face as he stared at her feet from across the room. Not daring to look her in the eyes. He didn’t deserve to.

“How did you find out?”“Have you always known?He finally broke the silence as he asked her. Curiosity peeking as he remembered that fateful night. The night he killed them all.He remembered it all. From her pitiful cries as he kissed away her tears and promised her it wouldn’t hurt. To her choking sobs as he plunged the knife deep into her heart and begged her to forgive him. He remembered. And he was never going to forget.

“How can you forgive me Susie...”“How can you not blame me?”“I killed you... I killed all of you and myself.”“It’s my fault we’re here.”
