With his hood up and covering his ears, he had barely heard the other’s approach until it was far too late. Raising his hands in a useless defense of the bat. However, when the object was sharply dropped with a deafening clatter against cold tile and large hands moved to push both himself and his mask. He couldn’t help but give into a deep chuckle of relief and excitement within the other’s grasp as lips muffled his own.

『❛  Mh, fuck..! Miss me much?  ❜』  

Frank snorted, openly expressing some form of joy with the other. Happy that the other was so excited to see him. Something he almost no longer expected in this ugly and dreary realm of misery. Raising up his hands, he pushed back his hood and hooked arms around the towering man’s neck for a single moment before pushing for breath.

Bloody fists marked red by the face of a foe. Dripping carelessly to the snow as sneakers scuffed along both mud and ice like an aggressive bull. 

『❛  And just where in the actual FUCK have you been?   ❜』 He snorted, displeased by the other’s late appearance from within the mist. Not through impatience nor volatile anger. But from a deep set worry for her safety. He knew Julie could handle her own just as well as the others. She’d proven it to him time and time again in the years they’d spent as a crew and the many more uncounted they had within the fog. 

But it never subsided the sickness Frank felt in the pit of his stomach when one of them had to leave for a trial. His scars burning at the thought of all that could happen to them. His own life had always been everything if not the forefront of his survival. At least, It had been until his Legion came along.

Reaching forward, he pushed a strand of hair away from shadowing her face. Minor in it’s irritation though it irked him none the less. Huffing heavily, he ignored the heavy cloud of visible breath that left him because of the frigid air. Stepping back and turning on water soaked heel to make his way to the lodge.
