Day 31: Hands

Okay so this is a weird one for the finale of Goretober but like. Does anyone remember that old sort of pokemon clone game, Idle Hands? I remember playing it as a kid and it was like. Pokemon but with these severed hands? And the point of catching them was to befriend them and make them nice. So they can be returned to their original person. The Midway Boss, Handful, really sacred me as a kid cause it literally just was just a flayed hand with damaged nails and nail horror squiked me out bad.

I was also there when the dev apparently had to patch the game cause the Business Hand used to just be called Hand Job and apparently that was screwing with the site it was being supported on.

I can't seem to find any playthroughs of the game online though so I guess it must be a flash game lost to time.

Medinet Habu, a Ramesside funerary temple (RIII), in Egypt has reliefs with piles of hands in front of the king. Nice to have archaeological evidence to back it up.
