Pairing: Kelly Severide x SeverideSister!Reader
Requested by anon: Can you do a Kelly x Sister where she’s on squad 3 and they get into a fight about whatever and they don’t talk to each other for days, maybe even weeks except to pass each other sly and passive aggressive remarks. Eventually the rest of the house gets tired of it and formulate some type of plan to get them to make up. (Plan lead by Herrmann and/or Shay, if you want throwback vibes)

A/N: Here with some throwback vibes! Wasn't too sure where to go with this prompt so I hope this turned out okay!
SEVERIDE!SISTER MASTERLIST
“Do you even remember what you guys are fighting about?” Shay asked, her eyebrow ticking upwards.
“Yes.” You responded, a little too quickly.
You didn’t.
It had been a week since you’d stopped talking to Kelly. Sure, you were on Squad so you had to talk to Kelly on calls so the only time you talked was when it was professional but the moment the call was over and you were all in the truck, it was back to silence.
It had gone on for so long and Shay knew that it was still ongoing just because neither of you knew how to or wanted to back down.
It had reached a point you were wondering if it was even a good idea for you to be working under him when Herrmann approached you. “Hey, emergency meeting.”
You frowned. “What emergency meeting?”
Hermann shrugged. “Just get in there.”
You sighed and pushed yourself off the seat, quickly heading towards the briefing room. You were only given a second to register the practically empty room… except for Kelly. You spun back around but the door was already shut.
Kelly spun around when he heard the click of the lock.
“What the hell?” Both of you said in unison.
“Shay!” Kelly yelled, glaring at his best friend through the small window on the door.
Shay shook her head. “Neither of you are going anywhere until this is sorted out.”
“Or if we get a call.” You muttered, rolling your eyes.
You turned back to face your older brother. You hadn’t admitted it to even yourself but it was weird not talking to him. It was weird that he wasn’t the first person you went to when you heard something funny or when you were upset.
Both you and Kelly looked up at the same time, glaring, neither of you making the first move.
“I’m waiting.” You snapped.
Kelly’s eyebrows ticked upwards.
“You’re the older one, you apologise.” You spoke again.
Kelly rolled his eyes. “Do you ever get tired of using that line?” He snapped back. “You show me some respect, I’m your older brother and your officer.”
You continued to look at him.
“Fine.” Kelly conceded after a prolonged silence and staring match. “Fine, I’ll be the bigger person. I’m sorry, okay?”
It was as if the two of you were once again below the age of ten. The same thought must have crossed Kelly’s mind because he caught your eye and the both of you burst into laughter, still bickering lightly about whose fault it was that you’d both gotten locked up in here.
Shay was right. It was stupid, stupid enough that neither of you remembered but that was the beauty of having an older brother. He was stuck with you, as you were with him, no matter how stupid your fights ever got and you wouldn’t trade being a Severide for the world.
