Something just hit me with the force of a brick wall while re-reading the backstory of One for All (mainly the story of All for One and his brother):

One for All is passed down with the DNA of the user, right? The successor has to digest the DNA in any form – a hair, blood (?) – just something to take One for All into his body. Tracing that back to the beginning, that means that the very first user of One for All, the little brother, gave his DNA to his successor. And that successor passed it down again, and again… until we reach Izuku, who got it from All Might.

What I’m trying to say here is – if there are traces of all the DNAs of all of the former users of One for All somehow stored in that quirk, then that means that there are also remnants of the little brother’s DNA in there.

Who happens to share his DNA – at least partly – with All for One.

On the other hand, there would also be a part of Nana’s DNA in One for All – who shares her DNA with Shigaraki.

Both villains, mentor and student, are connected to One for All by their DNA.

I wonder if this is going to be important in the future.

There are so many different, great headcanons being sent to me. Currently, there are like, 6 different ideas sitting in my inbox, and I love each of them.

I want to answer all of them at once and right now, but sadly enough, I have a few exams tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, so I don’t really have the time to yet.

I will answer all of your great ideas as soon as I’m able to, guys! Be warned, most of them will be answered with half an essay – you’re all inspiring me too much. (*cough* Never stop, I love it. *cough*)

I heard that there is a headcanon or meta which theorizes that Izuku actually had a quirk before One for All and that it just lay dormant the whole time. I can't seem to find that headcanon, though.

Does anybody know something about it? It sounds really cool! =)

I was also sent the "Mourn Me" prompt, but with Toshinori and Izuku. The prompter left it up to interpretation which one I should kill off, but I'm not sure I'm ready to write it either way. XD

Funnily enough, most of those sadprompts seem to focus either Toshinori or Izuku or both of them. Looks likeeveryone wants to make those cinnamon rolls suffer. XD

I’m not quite ready myself yet. Iwill need some mental preparation before I can kill one of my favoritecharacters off.

Ah, well. I’m really excited to seewhat you will make of your prompt! =D

So now I’ve got a drabble prompt saying “Mourn me” for Bakugou mourning Deku and another drabble prompt saying “Kill me” for All for One killing Izuku.

First off: Why is it that everybody wants to kill Izuku?

And second: I hope nobody has objections if I make a mini-series out of this – you know, the “Mourn me” could be the sequel to “Kill me”. I think that fits quite well.
