You know, I really thought Vi was going to be my favorite character. Somehow despite not being the biggest mess of a character, she somehow feels so in my brain in a way that kinda has me meh. I think it's because of how lost she is through so much of the show. She's still sexy as hell, tho she needs to get a haircut so bad by the end.
SPEAKING OF HAIRCUT! Sevika PLEASE! You are so sexy and that last hairdo does NOT do it for me. If I could get one character I could give a haircut to at the end it would be her. LET HER BE A SEXY BUTCH! Get her hair out of that gorgeous face!
I think Mel might be my favorite by the end. They made her seem so sinister in the first season! And maybe she was playing a game but it didn't turn out to be to malicious ends. She wanted Piltover to prosper and become more than it was. To show off to her mom sure but also for the sake of the city. She wanted always to be merciful but that didn't mean she couldn't or wasn't willing to play dirty. And despite that I'd say her choices which much more consistently compassionate than honestly most of the other characters'. And the least lost and therefore more able to see her paths.
Which isn't to say lost characters can't be neat. I actually really enjoyed all the twists and turns Jynx went on. Even when she was lost she set firm targets and that made her compelling in a way that Vi didn't manage for me.
