Surely this is just another dream... Rambles below the cut

Saddest wettest most pathetic Alad I have ever drawn award.

Alad is very messed up and all skin n bones when he finally shows back up on Sevo's door after being awol for an undetermined amount of years. He's stuck in the medbay for a while, Sevo promises him once he's cleared to leave he'll pamper him some. The whole time Sevo is dreading that he'll wake up, that it's all just another of the many dreams he has had where Alad comes home, or worse, one of the ones where he's a sentient mimic... he's almost scared to touch him in case it breaks the illusion.

This is a scene that has been bouncing around my head for the last year or so now but I struggle with full scenes and I hate the idea of having to then COLOUR those scenes- But then I remembered my art is finished when I say it is finished, and also I know how to use blender now so I can just model rudimentary props and trace them for my own ease and comfort.

I was thinking about that image of the cat covered in drunk kiss marks and I think this happens to Alad sometimes...

Can't remember the last time I drew all three of these goobers together so I ended up drawing something that feels like I would have drawn it 5 years ago and that's a good thing.

Sevo's ref was getting kinda old so while I am still Sevo/Alad pilled rn I made use of the full body I drew of him recently to make him a nice new ref with some silly extras
