found the nearest Giant Tree in the betweenlands and decided to set up base there... starting to realize this is kind of a hostile area to live in lol

#sevtechposting #i dug out the inside of the tree and got attacked by a ton of pyriads #also chiromaws and peat mummies like to spawn around the tree and try to get me #it's ok though i'm safe inside the tree #i also used the weedwood blocks i got from digging it out to set up a deck like area around the tree so things don't spawn #and i can walk around it without getting stuck in mud

betweenlands portal required more space than i thought (had to clear out basically my entire portal room LOL)

#sevtechposting #my portal room didnt look good anyway its fine #sure i cooould've put it outside but i was deadset on the idea of having a tree inside of a tree #also i like the dimension portals being in one place (sans abyssalcraft i keep that setup a ways away from home)

the difficulty w/ getting back into your sevtech world after a long break is that you have no idea wtf is going on anymore and you have to spend a long time walking around to remember LOL
