( SEVYN GRAVES ): I DON'T LIKE THIS PLACE. THE DARKNESS, AND THE NOISES, AND THE AWFUL FEELINGS I GET. it's different, now, somehow. forgotten and desolate. not just lonely, like it used to be. there days when their childhood home would even be considered warm, but not today. not anymore. the thing that silas fears the most is not the house itself, the state of it, but that he feels as if he's dreamed about it this way, before. empty, bare walls, dusty banisters, not abandoned, but as if it were never lived in, at all. as much as silas had felt this way when he was a child - that their house was void of love, sometimes, vacant even though a whole family lived there - this was real. his mother was gone, and there was nothing left to even prove that she had ever existed. silas instinctively reached out an arm, pulling his niece close to his side, both to comfort her, and himself. ' don't wander off, ' he murmurs, afraid that if he talked too loud, the whole house would come crumbling down around them. ' i don't understand what's happening, but we'll figure it out. just... stay close, ' @diggsgraves.
