Matt is literally probably the last person that Near wants to hang out with. However, all of Near’s other friends are currently busy with their rich, shallow lives and Near is really frustrated about it. Mello’s in Hawaii on vacation, L And B are off camping god knows where and even Light is studying for college. This leaves Near alone and grumpy, on his plush pink bed, scrolling through his contacts.

Matt is the only one whose always not doing anything, which is why Near decides to call him up, asking if he’d help Near with a Very Important job. Matt, of course, accepted, and Near asked him to pick him up discreetly, because he doesn’t want his Daddy seeing that he hangs out with human garbage. 

So now Near is smearing lip gloss all over his big pouty lips, and tugging on his Brandy Melville shorts that slide across his thick thighs and don’t chafe. They’re also the best material ever, putting Near in sensory heaven. With that, Near is shimmying out the window and down the ladder he actually keeps under his bed for these exact moments.

He has his Daddy’s credit card in his back pocket and he’s ready to go, jelly sandals clacking on the ground as he waits at the bus stop down the street for Matt to pick him up, the sun blazing down on his white little shoulders.
