recent pants adjustment project 🌺👖✂🧵
took apart (this step happened a while ago and the pieces've been sitting on my pile since) some old pants I bought as a teen and never wore bc they were too tight, sewed the pockets, front & back back together, added side stripes (made of fabric I salvaged from an old skirt I'd made (also) as a teen) to widen them around the hips (and in this case along the whole leg for ✨ fashion ✨), added a gusset in the crotch made from the floral fabric that used to be the old waistband for l o o s e n e s s , and sewed on a new elastic waistband covered in the same red fabric from the stripes 👌
they're super loose and light and comfy, great for lounging at home and summer once it's warmer outside ^^ I'm very happy with how they turned out
