I'm on episode two (2) of fox kdrama and you're telling me the lore here is that the only way for a fox to gyjinka into a man at 100 years old is that he wanted to "copulate with women" (already wild, if this is actual mythology lore, korea you wild), but that *preceded* this guy grooming falling in love with this mortal girl bc he was *already* a man when he met her, and a deity, which he can only become at 1000 years old, so the copulating with human women part is fine and not stigmatised in fox culture (very sonic the hedgehog of you), but the falling in love with them after you become a deity is scandal-worthy??? ok man, I guess???
also we just glossed over the incredible CG tiger casually hanging out with him in the opening shot, like what is the relationship between tigers and foxes in this mythology, is the tiger like the derpy (characterisation entirely based on kpop demon hunters' tiger as only reference point) henchman to the powerful fox deity? like- you spent a lot of time on telling me about foxes wanting to take human lovers so far that you could've spent on telling me about tigers and how they and foxes feel about each other instead
