A few more blue squares done, just need ironing. (A couple more after that, and I'll have finished the blue entirely!)

We have decided that while @justsayins does NaNoWriMo I will do "Sewvember". The main goal will be to empty out the overflowing basket of stuff I've been meaning to mend / alter / take apart for scrap. Tonight's project: fix this strap that holds the basket onto my bicycle. Since we only came up with Sewvember today, this was a little easy one to start me off. Done in 20 minutes, with Cece's assistance of course.
Catching up on Sewvember...this didn't photograph very well since the fabric is so dark and the lighting is poor, but anyway. Found this pair of pants at the thrift shop and the legs were a little short, so I let the hems down as much as I could and now I have one more pair of dressy slacks.
Introducing Sewvember
If you’ve been here a while you know I love a good challenge. You might also know that usually during November I’m waist-deep in NaNoWriMo projects, but this year I decided to accept my own challenge, facing the fact that closing the doors of my fabric closet are getting ridiculously difficult to close…
The idea for Sewvember was born out of frustration. I felt like all I ever did with my sewing…

Final mending challenge: four pairs of pants! Can I remember what I meant to do with each one? We shall see.
I've been behind on Sewvember the last couple of days, but finally the pants have become a pile of fabric once again. And I learned that kakehari are a godsend for seam-ripping.
@moodfabrics #sewvember day 26: a gift. I made my poodle owning sister a sweater 😁 she loved it. Mission accomplished #sewing #isew #nähen
@moodfabrics #sewvember day 22: for the home... Love making these super simple, snuggly blankets from sweater knit fabric and fleece or faux fur as backing. Add some pompons and stay cozy on the couch 😁 #isew #sewcialists #bunnies
