What did Clever Girls Social Media Agency have to do with #Batkid? 

This is the story of what happened behind the social-media scenes to help make Batkid the most celebrated figure (and hashtag!) of 2013. Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area partnered with the city of San Francisco to make Miles' wish come true. And with only 9 days to plan, Clever Girls partnered with Make-A-Wish to create and execute the social media strategy.

Miles' story had all the makings to go viral. Clever Girls set the social stage. And then Miles made magic.

Miles, #SFBatKid, Is Granted Superhero Wish With Help From Clever Girls

On Friday, November 15, the adventure begins, and Miles (aka #SFBatKid) takes off to save San Francisco from dastardly villains!  On behalf of BatKid Miles and his family, we look forward to seeing you in Gotham City! Here are a few details about Miles' celebration at City Hall:

Where: City Hall, Civic Center Plaza When:  Approximately 2pm What: There will be a presentation with SF Mayor Ed Lee and Police Chief Greg Suhr, and of course, our favorite superhero Batkid! What you can do:

Please wear Black & Yellow and bring signs in support of Batkid

Encourage your friends to RSVP for us to get a count of people

Please take public transportation to Civic Center

Be sure to "check in" on Facebook and FourSquare when you arrive at Civic Center ~ but check into Gotham City and use hashtag #SFBatKid
