“You’re the one at my door at 3am, you can’t complain about me being naked. Now come in, I’ll find some pants.”
“The next person I see put a book away where it doesn’t belong is getting it thrown at them.”
“These cupcakes here with the pink frosting are vegan, no dairy or eggs in the batter. And these ones next to them are the same flavor except they’re gluten free. But, if you want more of a classic cupcake, these ones are pure chocolate and they’re to die for.”
Charlie was lost in thought, to say the least. A dying parent was not something anyone should have to deal with.. and yet bad luck struck a second time round for the freshly returned native. There had to be a way to save him; there just had to be. “—Sorry,” she stated once she realised someone was asking her a question. Smiling apologetically, the brunette composed herself and put on a fresh smile, “I was a little distracted. What were you saying?”
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” Flustered and exhausted, Addie finally found the pacifier and placed it into her crying 5-month-old’s mouth which caused silence to wash over the room now. Even though she had been doing this for almost six months every day seemed to be a new challenge. "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry." She apologized, before explaining. "She's got a cold, just been to the doctors and all of that. She inherits her grumpiness from me." She managed to crack a small smile, packing up her daughters belongings. "I hope I didn't hold you up."
Was his head pounding? Yes. Yes, so maybe he was regretting hammering back last night’s specialty drink; going a little too far even for his standards. He regretted it even more when he remembered the stack of paperwork he had to fill out back home. So, sure his head was pounding now, but running was (remarkably) the lesser of two evils. Well, it could have been had he not been so wrapped up in his own head, he found himself colliding head on with another body. “Fuck–” he muttered, collecting his thoughts as well as his balance, “oh shit, sorry about that. You alright mate?”
Cass had thrown another wild party at her place and yet had forgotten to anticipate the man in the suit who had always bothered her to no end whenever they were in the same place. It even got to the point where he would wait out her building until he saw her come in. Fuck, she thought as he seemed to not want to let her out of his sight. The brunette tried to think of a plan and finally pried herself away from the man and scurried off to her bathroom. “Baby, come on. Come out, please. We’re gonna have a lot of fun,” Cass scowled at the tightly shut door. She was not in the mood to play hockey pokey tonight. A slam came from the door and she just glared at it, unflinching. “Open the door, baby.” Looking at her fire escape that led to the room upstairs, a light bulb flashed above her head as she tried to get out through her window. Her dress was not made to make her move a lot and she groaned. Stripping down to her underwear, she slipped on her robe and finally went up the stairs that led her to an occupied room. Sliding the window open as the ruckus coming from outside her bathroom door was getting out of hand. “It’s alright. It’s only me,” she assured, climbing in fully into their room.
“— There’s plenty of space to avoid just this-” Rowan frowns, brows drawn together as she shifts closer to the window, and away from the warmth of the other person at her back; the movement dislodging her purse to hit the trolley kart floor without her noticing.“I’m quite a fan of personal space, if you don’t mind.”
