J2 + Jensen singing to/for Jared. [x/x/x]

Okay I've been a fence sitter for a couple years with heavy leaning towards hatters that I always tempered with possible alternate explanations. A lot of things were highly suspicious because but not completely conclusive for me. I was to afraid of it being a case of seeing what I wanted to see. But if Jensen truly changed the lyrics to "man wrapped around my heart" which I watched from a different angle and listened several dozen times and I can't see what other words fit.(1)

(2) It’s definitely not the original lyrics. I see no other explanation than he deliberately changed them into a phrase used almost exclusively used for a SO. Even wrapped around my finger is sometimes used for children. But wrapped around my heart from one man to another?! I see no other than they are together. I can’t believe it I’m officially a tinhatter!😱

I think the lyrics change was because he forgot. Since he neither says “locked” nor “wrapped” after the supposed “man”. I was pretty excited about it too but looking at it few times made it clear.

Anon #1: I love that J2 have knocked another fan off the fence, welcome to the fancy hat club! Some days you’ll need a helmet, but today is a party hat day. ;D

Anon #2: I don’t know if you’re sincere or if you’re trolling, hets and cankles have been flooding the gossip comm with this same exact story all day.

So here’s my answer to both. Watch this video (this link if it doesn’t start at the right spot), it’s extremely clear that Jensen sings ”man wrapped around my heart”:

There’s also this video (link), where it’s again very clear what he’s singing by both sound and sight (read his lips, he faces directly into the camera for that line):

Quite frankly, I find it insulting on Jensen’s behalf, the idea that he’s so functionally illiterate, that he suddenly can’t read the ipad, that he looked at several times to prompt his memory and make sure he’s at the right place, for that one specific line and that one line only.That in all the many conventions Jensen has sang at now, including using the ipad, that this one time and this one line would be the one he’d fake/fudge because he “forgot” instead of, oh say, laughing at himself and waiting till he could jump back in like he’s done every other time in the past.

(Okay, so I’m probably leaning toward anon #2 being a troll, lol.)

Also, this is not the first time Jensen has changed the lyrics of a song to be about Jared, it’s the third time.

The first was during the song “Turtles All The Way Down” at SFCon 2015, he changed the lyric to ‘but I swear that God is there every time I stare into the eyes of my best friend’ while singing it directly to Jared. The second was “Sweet Home Alabama” at JIBCon 2015, where he adlibbed the verse:

Hanging out in Rome with all y'allMissing my brother Jared, let’s give him a hell yeahAnd i love you guys more that you’ll ever knowBut right now I, I gotta go

Which he sang for Jared.

This is probably way too much answer for the question, but I’m out of patience for anon #2′s version of events for today. -Admin D

30/365 Is it getting hot in here ? :p

Two years ago today I saw Osric Chau in person for the first time at SFCon 2015.  Throughout my entire life, I don’t think that I have ever been that immediately (and continuously) captivated by anyone so endearing  – a sweet, funny, loving, caring, humble, down-to-earth, talented, handsome man with an adorable smile & laugh to top it all off.  There is no one like Osric. 

I’m consistently in awe of how much he radiates love and promotes kindness.  Time and again I’ve seen numerous personal stories of how he has helped people pursue their goals.  He has demonstrated and encouraged us to still carry on even if we make mistakes or encounter obstacles along the way. 

Osric has reminded us that each of us is different and thus to be “Proud to Be Unique.”  He also takes risks that may look foolish to some, but he does them anyway to stand for what he believes - and to also encourage others to be who they are, to express their own individuality. 

I am also so proud of Osric for his acting accomplishments over these years and for his pursuit to help achieve more diversity in film casting.   What an extraordinary human being.  Keep at it Os!  :)
