I know at cons they sometimes play up the flirtiness to get a reaction out of the crowd, but I think it also gives them a way to hide in plain sight. However, there are plenty of moments at cons where it looks like they are legitimately just blushing over each other and it’s so fucking cute. Like two teenagers in love for the first time.

Regarding the destihellers BS about Jensen

The destihellers whining and calling Jensen a homophobe for shutting down destiel yet AGAIN, is such bullshit, and yes it is partially because he didn’t tell them what they want to hear, but the most disgusting part of it is that they’re using that to try and shame Jensen into saying what they want to hear, same goes for anyone else among the PTB of Supernatural who hasn’t said what they want to hear. The hellers are/have been trying to shame all of these people into giving them what they want and to that I say: guess what sweet cheeks, it ain’t gonna work. The writers and PTB aren’t going to change what the show is about just because some idiots are whining and trying to shame them into it, and they sure as hell aren’t going to lie to the fans just to say what that one section of the fandom wants to hear.

Also, to those who said Jensen was rude I say: first, sit the hell down, Jensen was not rude, in any way,

1. his tone was light and jovial, it was not pissy, nor nasty, nor negative in any way

2. Jensen did not in way shape or form go out of his way to be mean or rude

3. Jensen did not use a single cuss word, he did not go off and cuss anyone out, or rant

4. Jensen was blunt and to the point, which is understandable and completely justifiable after YEARS of being figuratively slapped in the face and harassed about this ONE ship and same question that he’s already answered, AND especially since the answer is NEVER going to change

5. Stating a fact about CANON (which the question was about, it wasn’t about fanon) is not rude, because saying that a fanon ship that doesn’t exist in canon, doesn’t exist in canon is not rude, it’s the simple truth

6. Jensen DID try to spare their feelings and be kind, but truthful about that subject, by for example, pussyfooting around, and trying to find a way to tell them the truth, that Dean is straight and NOT in love with Cass, without being too blunt about it, but guess what? the hellers couldn’t (well, refused to) take the damn hint so Jensen is done pussyfooting around, he’s done trying to be nice about it, you wanna keep asking about destiel and Dean’s nonexistent bisexuality, then Jensen’s going to keep being blunt and he’s just going to keep shutting that shit down, hard, wanna avoid that kind of situation, well then, stop bringing up destiel and Dean’s sexuality with him and slapping him in the face with it, it’s against convention rules anyways, and Jensen’s made it clear that he’s done with that shit, and those questions are off-limits for him, and for those that think that they can force him to answer him that they should be allowed to force him to answer simply because THEY like it, he is completely allowed to have questions and subjects that are off-limits, you know why? because he’s a goddam human-being, and as such has that right, and just because you like it, doesn’t mean he does, and no one is OWED their ship, or an answer, though Jensen is nice enough to answer most if not all questions, unless you decide to be rude and disrespectful, like the fan that asked that question, and ignore Jensen’s boundaries, then he might not bother with it.

About the homophobe BS, Jensen has never once referred to m/m or non-straight ships in general in a negative way, the ONLY ship Jensen has distanced himself from or has said he doesn’t like, is destiel, and that’s not about it being a m/m ship, it’s about the fact that it’s not true to the character of Dean and also the fact that SOME fans (coughcoughhellerscough) feel the need to and think that it’s ok to keep slapping him in the face with it and harassing him about it, despite the fact that he’s made it crystal-fucking-clear that it’s not going to happen, point blank and the period, and that he doesn’t want to deal with questions about it, because he’s uncomfortable with it as he’s very protective of Dean, the fans are rude about it, and there’s literally no point in discussing it in regards to canon.

Side note: I don’t think there are words to describe how utterly pathetic it is at how completely desperate the Hellers are for validation of their ship. I mean, for fuck’s sake, it’s a fanon ship, just enjoy it in fanon and be done with everything else, seriously, why isn’t enjoying it in fanon enough? And if I hear one more thing about how they need it canon because representation, i’m going to go postal on someones ass because if they truly wanted representation that made the most impact, they’d be rallying behind Sam, not Dean, because Sam is the main lead, Jared’s name is first on the call sheet as per what Jensen said, the show is more centered on Sam than Dean (not that Dean isn’t still incredibly important to the show), Sam is taller than Dean, has been more muscular, and, hell, if Sam ever shaved his head, or got some kind of buzz-cut (I wouldn’t want him to, but if he did) I dare say he’d come off even more masculine than Dean, not that Sam doesn’t already ooze “alpha male”, and to top that all off, it wouldn’t be so wildly OOC for Sam, although Kripke has stated that both leads are straight, and until I hear otherwise from the PTB, Sam is also straight, but yeah, that’s why the “representation” thing is BS, not to mention the fact that this isn’t the show for that, and that if they really desperately want representation that badly, they’d be better off looking for a show that IS about that sort of thing, and as i’m sure you well know nancy, they do exist. I’d also like to say thank you for letting me continue to rant, and vent and get things off of my chest, you’re awesome! *sends you a hug* ^_^
