It’s been one year since the release of my debut science fiction thriller novel, WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HERE–and what better way to celebrate than with the brand-new paperback edition of the book? 😉🚀

And even better, let’s do a small giveaway to commemorate the occasion! The prize is a free signed paperback copy of WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HERE, a WHABH bookplate, and a Shepherds of Haven bookmark of your choice! 

Rules:

1) Be a follower of my author blog, @strangevoyages, and like and reblog this post with the hashtag #we have always been here! You get an additional entry if you leave a comment about your favorite moment or character from the book in your reblog as well! :-) 

2) The deadline is August 31st, 2022 (11 PM MST).

3) Entrants will be assigned a number, and the winner be selected via random number generator. The winner will be messaged for their preferred shipping address here on Tumblr, and a new winner will be selected if there’s no response within 72 hours.

Additional guidelines: Entrants must be 18 years or older to be eligible. The signed book can only be mailed to a US address, but should an international follower win, they’ll be sent a swag pack of both WHABH and Shepherds of Haven stickers and bookmark merch instead! Hello!

With the fate of Twitter uncertain, I’m trying to migrate a few things over here and dive fully back into my teenage tumblr phase.

So hi! I’m Jenna—YA author, mac & cheese enthusiast, and road trip playlist connoisseur. My debut novel, MADE OF STARS comes out March 28th, 2023 from Viking/Penguin Random House. It’s a YA sci-fi retelling of Bonnie and Clyde about two teenage space criminals, the pilot hunting them down, and all the crimes they commit along the way.

GUEST SPOTLIGHT: C. Sanford Lowe is a science fiction writer who co-authored the novel, The Black Hole Project,  with G. David Nordley. Formerly a newspaper reporter in Boston, a deputy sheriff in Arizona, and an airline pilot in New Mexico, Lowe currently works in Technology Training at Stanford University. She is a winner of the best short story for the New England Science Fiction Association. When not writing, she collaborates on experimental music with her husband, and tutors students studying English as a second language.

Guest Spotlight: A storyteller for as long as she can remember, Margaret McGaffey Fisk explores the barriers between cultures, economic classes, and social standing with an eye for personal responsibility and growth. Her short works have been published in numerous science fiction and fantasy anthologies, and her published novels fall into the steampunk, science fiction, and romance (historical/contemporary) genres. Like her stories, she's happy to explore a wide variety of topics, though don't be surprised if the discussion veers off in unexpected directions.  Margaret is an amateur philosopher and observer of human nature with a focus on culture rooted in growing up in a number of different countries through the U.S. Foreign Service.
