Who are you interested in for sfSDV? 👀 (and also!! snzfic in Twine?? are you planning a CYOA?)

I'm currently doing a fresh (like, SP1, Day3 fresh) playthrough of sfSDV with the Expanded mod (PC) and I'm romancing Elliott. I can't help it. -heart eyes-

And yeah actually I am! I got distracted with all this other writing but I have a SDV(E) dating sim thing with Elliott in the works. It took me for-freaking-ever to find out how to successfully let someone choose their appearance and the current run is going to be a she/her farmer to save me a coding headache of putting in multiple pronouns on top of still figuring out other core mechanics.

Like, I'm 99% sure I understand how to do it for multiple pronouns? My one vanilla buddy did the hard work there, and it IS a huge stack of code lol. but at the same time I need to figure out.... everything else before who's who even matters, you know?

Version 2 will probably only add he/him and they/them and maybe add some clothing things? but it's progress. I'd like for v1 to be releasable as is, and v2 just add some cosmetics - as in the game itself, your pronounce don't change much if anything.

I uh. Do want to do all the Twines and if I could decide on something small to produce and wave the community to so they gather the sheer potential of this I would.

I have too many ideas and the F!Farmer / Elliott one is all that's gotten work on it. ^_^" I did consider a "day in the life" snz bitty twine thing but couldn't decide on scenarios!

I am, as ever, taking requests. Also for anyone confused I'm going to explain what Twine is under the cut.

CYOA - "choose your own adventure" - is a medium perhaps more commonly recognized in RPGs and visual novels. Then there are books; Twine is one of a few types of interactive fiction, and in my experience the easiest to code if you don't already know how. (I might be biased).

Twines are played in your browser and often referred to as IF's -interactive fiction- or as twine games, and in it's simplest format you have some text to read and at least two choices based off of it to choose from. Depending on which link you click, you are taken to a different passage. Therefore, you choose your own adventure; the story develops based on your choices.

So basically it's non linear story telling that generally has at least two endings, often more, and sometimes the "paths" can differ greatly. It's a bit mind-bendy and the more complex it is the more code you have to know, but the community is welcoming and it comes with a good debugger.

There are some basic pointers and warnings I'd always give to those giving it their first try, but I'm just mentioning the basics of what it is here. Maybe drum up some interest and get some suggestions for later topics ;)
