A man killed several people and injured others in the Norwegian town of Kongsberg Wednesday evening, according to local police and reports.
No one needs assault bows and quivers that hold more than ten arrows!
There also needs to be a law that prevents someone from firing more than one arrow at the same time. In that law, arrows must be kept locked up separate from the bow, with the string disconnected from the bow or a lock that keeps the string firmly in place. In fact, if someone must have a bow and arrow for self-defense, it shouldn’t be any larger than one hand in height to avoid overpenetration and accidentally penetrating a wall. A limit of no more than ten arrows should be purchased at any one time. Each serialized so they can be fully traced!
Oh, and don’t get me started on Ghost Bows. Those are bows and arrows that are purchased in parts without serial numbers, assembled by someone in a seedy place to sell at trade shows or give to people who shouldn’t have them. Modifications such as tensioners are also a problem. Let’s also not get into the fact that these are SILENCED WEAPONS!
No one needs a silencer on a bow. They’d evade shot spotter detection. And since they’re made of composites, they can easily get past metal detectors. Imagine if someone boarded a plane with a hidden, silenced, wooden bow and arrow with a carbon fiber tip!
We need our elected officials to restrict bows and arrows and stop the free flow of bows into our neighborhoods!
