Let's Test Something Out
SFSG is taking down Sprunki projects because they don't want it affiliated with their brand...
Well, what if we take our Sprunki mods, change the GUI a little, and remove the term "Incredibox" from it. That way they can't do anything about it as it's now a legally distinct project.
It's not like SFSG owns the original scratch template anyways...

So, starting this as a way to keep track of in-progress design for something start to finish. Bit of an experiment in post formatting, seeing how things work long term.
For a decent amount of time, I've had this idea to do a sandbox-y style sci-fi survival campaign, inspired by that first trailer for Scavenger's Reign.
The general campaign pitch would be playing as people crash-landed on a strange, dangerous, and mysterious alien world. I want there to be some focus on survival and building up the resources needed to progress further and further through the planet with the eventual goal of escape or rescue.
So then what kind of game would work for that?
I want there to be some focus on resource acquisition and management, but I don't want it to get too heavy or video game-y. So some level of abstraction might be needed. There's also something appealing about Mothership (which is a very cool game). I don't think Mothership itself is the perfect fit, but there's a lot of good ideas to tinker with. The general skill system to start with, but I think the way Stress works as is would need to be changed/shifted to something else.
This initial post is just capturing the vague half-ideas! The plan is to add to it as I slowly work on this project in the background. No real deadline or time limit, and this project isn't even at the top of my work-list lmao.

In sfsg we don’t see the siblings lives outside of interactions with Five and Klaus. What are they up to? Did Diego go back the the police academy and actually pass? Did he meet Patch again? Luther never had a life outside the academy so what is he up to? Did Allison get back into acting or did she do something else? Is she still famous? Is Vanya continuing to play violin professionally of has she decided it’s better as just a hobby? Or are they mostly living off Reginald’s fortune?
This is the moment where I ask myself “have I thrown in those bits yet or is that still an upcoming thing??” lol it’s been so long since I wrote sfsg I can’t quite remember
I’m pretty certain I’ve mentioned a few things though (I’m 90% sure it’s the chapter where they have their disastrous family meeting that ends with Klaus taking Five back to bed after he has a nightmare, whichever chapter that is), not forgetting that they spend most of sfsg as physical teens/young adults.
Luther: Works at a museum
Diego: Joins the police academy again
Allison: Helps out at a local theatre, but not acting
Ben: I’m preettyyyy sure I said he’s working at a library, without crawling through my miles of notes
Vanya: Orchestra (I think, but I’m mostly certain, again without traipsing through my notes!)
No soldier gives his life. That's not the way it works. Most soldiers who make a conscious decision to place themselves in harm's way do it to protect their buddies. They do it because of the bonds of friendship - and it goes so much deeper than friendship. Its a brotherhood.
